Manager - Digital Risk - Financial Services

 

The opportunity

 

As our Manager in Digital Risk, you’ll focus on opportunities where your expertise can make a substantial impact to design, develop, implement and optimise technology-enabled risk management solutions, applying software engineering principles, to assist our clients in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Leveraging advanced technology to help clients make better-informed decisions faster by examining risk from every angle and providing actionable insights. 


This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.


Your key responsibilities

 

  • You will engage with a range of leading financial services clients across various sectors, including insurance, superannuation, and banking, providing you with a broad spectrum of experiences.
  • Utilising cutting-edge tools and artificial intelligence, you'll assess and improve the adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of clients' operational processes, controls, activities, policies, and systems
  • You'll tap into EY's extensive global network to discover and implement solutions that address our clients' most pressing challenges and assist them on their paths to transformation

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn. 

 

  • You should have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in risk assessment framework, preferably within Financial Services, FinTech, or Consulting
  • Strong experience with enterprise software risk platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Archer), including integration, implementation and optimisation
  • Experience working across the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, build, testing, deployment and documentation
