The opportunity

EY’s International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice is a marketleading international tax team experiencing growth across Australia. We are expanding capability across ITTS Advisory, Transfer Pricing and Tax Controversy, and are seeking experienced tax professionals who want to deepen their expertise in one of these specialist areas.

Your key responsibilities

Deepening your expertise in your chosen ITTS discipline (ITTS Advisory, Transfer Pricing or Tax Controversy), you will work on complex and challenging matters aligned to your specialisation, delivering highquality outcomes for clients in a rapidly evolving tax environment.

  • Provide specialist tax advice within your chosen ITTS discipline, supporting clients on technically complex and commercially significant matters.
  • Deliver highquality written advice and client solutions, applying strong technical analysis and clear communication.
  • Build trusted client relationships and collaborate with EY teams locally and globally to deliver integrated outcomes.
  • At Manager and Senior Manager level, lead engagements, mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

 

Skills and attributes for success

We’re interested in experienced tax professionals who are passionate about their specialist area and motivated by technical challenge, complexity and impact.

  • Relevant experience in ITTS Advisory, Transfer Pricing or Tax Controversy gained in a professional services, legal or corporate tax environment (aligned to Consultant, Senior Consultant, Manager, Senior Manager level and Director level).
  • Strong technical and research capability, with the ability to translate complex tax issues into clear, practical advice.
  • Commercial mindset, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • A collaborative approach, curiosity to keep learning, and comfort adopting technology (including AI) to enhance quality and efficiency.
