As a Senior Consultant or Manager in our Transformation Consulting team, you’ll help financial services organisations deliver successful outcomes through some of New Zealand’s largest and most complex transformation programmes. You’ll lead teams and collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary specialists and emerging technologies to solve real business problems, unlock operational efficiencies and build capabilities for the future of financial services in Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond.

Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities

 

  • Lead complex large business and technology driven transformation programs spanning the entire lifecycle - from strategy through design and into implementation, including:
    • Business strategy development and operating model design
    • Strategic cost transformation and operational efficiency
    • Applying frontier AI models to change delivery and optimise processes
    • Business case development
  • Drive business development and account management activities, including pursuits, proposals, and managing key client relationships.

 

Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success

 

Ideally, you’ll have the skills and attributes below, but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

 

  • Extensive hands-on experience in leading and delivering projects and programs involving business transformation, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • A structured approach to critical problem-solving.
  • Management consulting experience gained through a Big 4 or boutique consulting firm is highly desirable.
  • Strong capabilities in understanding business strategy and operations and opportunities to leverage technology and AI for financial services organisations
  • Experience working with and implementing a range of AI platforms and solutions, driving adoption across client organisations and developing relevant AI governance frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical and business concepts clearly and confidently to both internal and external stakeholders.
