Job purpose:

  • Senior Security Analyst in the Risk Advisory team to work on security operation center projects for our customers across the globe.
  • An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You’ll also identify potential business opportunities for EY within existing engagements, and escalate these as appropriate. Similarly, you’ll anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.
  • In line with EY’s commitment to quality, you’ll confirm that work is of the highest quality as per EY’s quality standards, and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer. As an influential member of the team, you’ll help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

Your client responsibilities:

  • Engage and contribute to the security operation center projects
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
  • Execute the engagement requirements, along with review of work by junior team members
  • Help prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other interested parties
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Build strong internal relationships within EY Advisory Services and with other services across the organization
  • Help senior team members in performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff/junior level team members
  • Contribute to people related initiatives including recruiting and retaining IAM professionals
  • Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of staff
  • Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

  • Help senior team members in performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff/junior level team members
  • Manage the performance management for the direct reportees, as per the organization policies
  • Foster teamwork and lead by example
  • Training and mentoring of project resources
  • Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives
  • Excellent leadership skills

 

Mandatory skills:

  • 3-5 years hand's on experience on supporting information security infrastructure.
  • Bachelor Degree: Computer Science / Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 1-year exposure or good knowledge of any SIEM Solutions
  • In-depth exposure on two or more of the following security solutions; Firewalls, Endpoint Protections, IDS/IPS, DLP, NAC, 2FA, Email Protection, Security Analytics.
  • Has exposure and/or good knowledge on the following security technical exercises; incident response and handling, vulnerability assessment and management, security application and penetration testing. Cyber Security triage.
  • Understanding of Linux, Unix, Windows
  • Familiar with ITIL and ticketing systems such as Service Now
  • Flexible in working with other security technologies
  • Ability to work in a team environment, able to guide and lead junior analyst in delivering incident support solution within SLA.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Achieves agreed SLA and accountable for results.

Preferred skills:

 

  • Proven hands-on Security engineering, implementation and support.
  • Security Industry Certification/s such as CEH, Security+ and any SIEM related solutions is an advantage.
  • 3++ Years exposure on network monitoring environment
  • 1++ year proven or direct SOC and SIEM exposure
  • Excellent exposure on security network investigations, triage, containment and incident response.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cyber threat actors and their corresponding methods/tactics.
  • Ability to multi-task and understand priorities on risk, incidents and processes
  • Works well with team members and display highest level of integrity
  • Knowledgeable in Security Standards such as ISO and NIST
