Job Title: Microsoft Power BI Developer Staff

Role Overview:
As a Staff Developer in the GDS Consulting team within Digital and Emerging team, you will design and implement advanced data visualization solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Your work will focus on building scalable dashboards and reports to support global clients in tracking and improving process and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for difference use cases.
•    Understand business requirements and design effective data models to meet client-specific goals.
•    Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure accurate data modeling and reporting.
•    Build and maintain KPI models using Power BI.
•    Customize Power BI reports to enhance user experience and provide actionable insights.
•    Work with architects contributing to the data and analytics team on best practices in backend infrastructure, cloud transformation, and distributed computing topics.
•    Experience working on various projects related to Azure and Office 365.
•    Ensure all solutions adhere to organizational security, governance, and compliance standards.
Skills and Attributes to Success:
•    Proven experience in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and report design.
•    Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and user experience design.
•    Experience integrating Power BI with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and other systems.
•    Familiarity with Dataverse, Power Automate, and Azure services (Preferred but not required)
•    Ability to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
•    Excellent written and communication skills.
•    Ability to deliver technical demonstrations and training sessions.
•    Quick learner with a “can do” attitude.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
•    1–3 years of experience in professional services or consulting.
•    Strong analytical and project management skills.
•    Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with minimum supervision.
