The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) professional to join our Strategy & Execution team as a Manager. The role requires strong architecture and delivery experience across IAM, with practical exposure to Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Microsoft Entra ID. The successful candidate will bring an enterprise-wide, platform-agnostic perspective and combine identity architecture expertise with strategic advisory and transaction experience. The individual will support C-suite executives, private equity investors and global corporate clients across IAM strategy, identity-led Zero Trust, enterprise transformation and cyber due diligence, and will play a leading role in post-deal IAM integration, carve-out and separation strategy from signing through Day 1, transition, TSA exit and target-state implementation.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead IAM strategy, architecture and transformation engagements for global clients, translating business, security and transaction priorities into practical operating models, roadmaps and investment plans.
- Design and review enterprise IAM architectures covering access management, IGA, PAM, directory services and identity-led Zero Trust across workforce, privileged, customer, third-party and non-human identities.
- Own target-state architecture and design assurance from discovery through implementation, including principles, reference architectures, integration patterns, transition roadmaps and key design decisions.
- Architect and guide Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity solutions, including federation, SSO, MFA, passwordless authentication, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, PIM, identity governance and cross-tenant access.
- Lead IAM migration and transformation workstreams covering platform and tenant consolidation, application onboarding, identity and entitlement migration, coexistence, cutover, decommissioning and adoption.
- Assess complex IAM environments, identify material access and control gaps, and define prioritised remediation actions across identity lifecycle, access governance, privileged access and non-human identities.
- Lead or support buy-side and sell-side cyber due diligence, evaluating IAM maturity, identity risks, deal dependencies, costs and value-creation opportunities.
- Lead post-deal IAM integration, carve-out and separation strategy from sign-to-close through Day 1, transition, TSA exit and target state, ensuring secure access continuity and clear governance, milestones, costs, dependencies and risks.
- Define practical integration and separation approaches for tenants, directories, applications, access policies, IGA, PAM and identity data, including consolidation, coexistence, migration, disentanglement and decommissioning.
- Advise senior stakeholders in clear business language, lead client workshops and decision forums, and coordinate dependencies across HR, legal, privacy, infrastructure, cloud, applications, data and service management teams.
- Manage engagement scope, teams, quality, timelines, risks and economics while coaching junior colleagues and maintaining a high standard of client service.
- Support proposals, market pursuits, thought leadership and development of new and reusable IAM and cybersecurity offerings.
Skills and attributes for success
- Executive presence and confidence engaging C-level, board, investment and technology stakeholders.
- Structured problem-solving and hypothesis-led thinking, with an investor mindset and focus on value, risk and execution.
- Ability to lead IAM discovery workshops, complex enterprise architecture reviews and design authorities, reconcile security, control, user-experience and delivery priorities, and build stakeholder alignment.
- Lead meetings with senior client stakeholders to advise, shape and drive the strategy and planning for pre-deal diligence, integration, carve-out / separation and operational restructuring.
- Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work.
- Have innovative mindset to think out of the box for development of new services as per client needs
- Act as a role model and support development of junior team members, coupled with the recruitment and training responsibilities.
- Demonstrate the ability to move between pre-deal cyber diligence and post-deal execution, connecting diligence findings and deal assumptions to Day 1 priorities, integration or separation roadmaps, control remediation, value creation and longer-term cybersecurity transformation.
- Willingness to undertake international travel as per business requirement
To qualify for the role, you must have

- Hands-on architecture or delivery experience with Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid Active Directory, plus at least one leading IGA, PAM or access-management platform.
- Experience leading IAM transformation or migration workstreams, including application onboarding, identity and entitlement migration, coexistence, testing, cutover and decommissioning.
- Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, carve-outs or separations, including Day 1 readiness, tenant or directory strategy, TSA planning, access remediation and post-close stabilisation.
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, RBAC/ABAC, privileged and non-human identities, and standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML and SCIM.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Broader experience designing or delivering solutions across multiple leading platforms—such as SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, Okta or Ping Identity—and integrating them with Microsoft Entra ID is an added advantage.
