Corporate Finance/ Valuations Specialist

The Opportunity
We are seeking professionals to join our valuation and business modelling team within the Strategy and Transactions (SaT) service line, at managerial and/ or senior level. As part of the team you will support in advising clients on various financial modelling/ analysis and/ or valuation matters.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Building client relationships
• Performing valuation and/ or financial analysis work
• Executing various quantitative and qualitative analysis work
• Managing and executing project work
• Writing external and internal reports that set out our findings and recommendations
Skills / Attributes for success
- Excellent analytical, report writing, organizational, interpersonal and teaming skills
- Excellent understanding of company, industry, economic research, financial statements and valuations
- Excellent understanding of corporate transactions and funding mechanisms
- Excellent problem solving and project management skills
- Strong drive to take new work initiatives and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
- Ability to determine risks and opportunity areas, assess findings and communicate insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in developing final presentations
- Experience in a related role will be preferred
What you need to be in possession of :
- Be in possession of a qualification in accounting or finance or economics studies. Banking & finance qualifications will also be considered
- Be highly numerate with strong attention to detail
- Possess excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Have strong reporting skills and ability to clearly convey complex concepts (e.g. accounting, financial, economics)
- Be a team player with the ability to build relationships at all levels
