The independence team plays a decisive role in shaping EY’s perception and operations. In addition to independence, also the Anti-Money Laundering legislation (AML) entails significant compliance aspects as well as client onboarding assessments to EY.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Advise on auditor independence according to professional standards
• Research and analyze independence procedures for clients
• Monitor and support corrective actions
• Develop and implement training for independence and AML
• Collaborate with international EY independence teams
• Support the AML Compliance Officer in program implementation and optimization
• Conduct AML compliance checks for client onboarding
• Improve AML processes, procedures, and tools
• Provide compliance advice based on risk assessments
• Conduct periodic compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulations.

Your Profile

You have/are:

• a Master’s degree from a Belgian university
• a first experience is in AML is necessary
• excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch and French. Next to that, you are fluent in English
• a team player, resilient under pressure, problem-solving attitude and strong client service
• proficient with technology
