The Opportunity
At EY, we are seeking a Functional Business Analyst to join our Technology & Innovation team, a place of digital and technological innovation where we strive to build a better working world through the power of people, technology, and innovation. As a Functional Business Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to craft and deliver digital solutions. You will work closely with clients and subject matter experts to identify and analyze specific business requirements, conduct gap analyses, and develop strategies and solutions to address these requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Interpret business requirements for simplified analysis and decision-making
• Support product managers in executing product strategy and roadmaps
• Ensure continuous alignment with business objectives and collaborate organization-wide
• Lead design workshops for optimized solutions and facilitate communication between business and implementation teams
• Analyze and report data trends for informed decision-making
• Stay abreast of best practices and market trends in technology architectures
• Identify and characterize technology exploration initiatives
• Interpret business needs and convert them into functional requirements for implementation
• Define technology governance models and contribute to redefining technology architectures
Skills and Attributes for Success
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, economics, or related field
• 3+ years of software development experience in consulting or banking
• Proficient in business English, French or Dutch
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Expertise in Agile methodologies for effective application development
• Ability to interpret organizational objectives into information system goals
• Knowledge of technology architectures' best practices and market trends
• Experience in change management at an organizational level
• Strong autonomy, problem-solving, and communication skills
