The opportunity
We are now looking for an experienced Senior Tax Advisor to join our Direct Tax Advisory team in Malta. Our Direct Tax Advisory team advises multinational and domestic entities on domestic direct taxation matters and international tax developments. 
 
Your Key Responsibilities: 
•    Advising clients with respect to Maltese tax implications and international tax developments;
•    Advising clients with respect to specific tax advice they will be requiring from time to time;
•    Liaising with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration on questions of interpretation of Malta tax law; and
•    Assisting in the tax advice function as required.
 
Key Requirements:
•    In possession of a professional tax, accounting or legal qualification;
•    At least 5 years of relevant tax experience, ideally within an audit and accountancy firm;
•    Have professional fluency in English, both written and verbal;
•    Be willing to learn and be open to new challenges;
•    Strong technical and analytical skills; and
•    Good organizational skills and a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
