Your key responsibilities:
Directors are responsible for leading several workstreams and engagements, translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables, manage day-to-day problem-solving and team analytical activities, and serve as key liaisons between Strategy team members, EY-Parthenon Partners, and our clients.
Our teams work on a variety of client issues. The range of assignments includes Commercial Due Diligence, Corporate Strategy, Growth Strategy, Market dynamics and New Market entry strategy, reducing operating costs, and evaluating new business ventures.
Skills and attributes for success:
- Significant experience to lead Commercial Due Diligence engagements
- Develop business strategies using tools such as market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization.
- Expertise in large scale qualitative and quantitative analysis and story boarding as a result of this analysis
- Review transaction rationale and/or deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks relating to a proposed transaction.
- Manage and motivate workstreams and teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Develop, manage and mentor junior team members at the Associate, Consultant and Manager levels with strong leadership skills
- Excellent client facing and client relationship building skills at the senior client level
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in a professional services strategy environment
To qualify for the role you must have:
- A bachelor's degree with outstanding academic performance and at least 5 years of related work experience.
- Previous Strategy consulting experience and training
- Experience managing business strategy projects, particularly Commercial Due Diligence engagements in complex environments
- Ability to make detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage change
- Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment
- Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
- Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- An MBA with three years of related work experience or graduate degree with at least five years of related work experience, with a particular focus on commercial due diligence and strategic advice within a professional services environment.
