The EY-Parthenon Digital Strategy practice serves some of the world’s most demanding clients and helps them to answer questions like:

  • How can we transform our business model to capitalize on tech opportunities and not only enhance our market position but also drive growth and develop new, untapped markets?
  • How can our organization re-envision its approach to innovation to systematically and rapidly convert emerging trends and technologies into viable, market-leading business models?
  • Where should we focus our tech investment to embed emerging technologies as a central pillar of our business operations and competitive strategy and what kind of return on investment (ROI) can we expect from it?
  • What shifts in our business ecosystem architecture are necessary to position ourselves as the Orchestrator, to foster a thriving platform based on disruptive technologies to deliver sustained growth and network effects?
  • How can we effectively integrate disruptive technologies into our existing operations and processes, how can we build a culture of innovation and agility within our organization to support their adoption?
  • We change industries, create first movers, and develop fast followers by educating our clients, coming up with disruptive strategies, developing bold use-cases, driving trend and scenario analyses, and response tactics.

 

The opportunity -

As a (Senior) Consultant or Manager, you will be a part of multi-disciplinary project teams to:

  • Create a strong vision about the impact of technologies on our clients’ businesses and communicate it vividly and effectively.
  • Identify and analyse key (emerging) technologies focused on results and tangible outcomes.
  • Develop and realize innovative propositions and business models with a technological component.
  • Develop and publish tools and methodologies to identify and capture technical trends to share the knowledge and inspire our clients.
  • Analyse and evaluate value chains to identify areas for improvements for international clients.
  • Perform operational, commercial, and financial analysis to understand a company’s performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Realize developed value creation cases, e.g., the transformation of business models, optimization of production footprints, supply chains, and corporate functions.
  • Manage projects and day-to-day problem solving together with your team, coordinate multiple advisory engagements and motivate your team to work together on common challenges.
  • Interact with senior client stakeholders to advise, shape, and drive the strategy and planning.
  • Coach and lead the professional and personal development of your team members.
  • Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work.

 

Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?

 

  • Minimum of 3 (senior consultant) or five years (manager) relevant experience related to technology and strategy in an international company or consulting/professional services.
  • A good understanding of the latest technologies, amongst others blockchain, artificial intelligence, internet of things, quantum computing, and virtual reality.
  • A Master’s degree in a Science, Engineering, or Business Administration related field.
  • An aptitude for qualitative and quantitative analysis and the ability to link business strategy to performance.
  • Being a quick learner to familiarize yourself in new sectors, as well as demonstrate the ability to structure complex problems to more straightforward underlying drivers.
  • Being a strong team player is critical with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of the clients we serve.
  • A good external network in tech (e.g., universities and tech companies).
  • An exposure to the world of open-source and creator economy.

What we offer – Is everything that counts being counted?

  • Flexible working: you decide where and when you work in consultation with your team. At home, at the office, at the client's location, or from another European country (up to 20 working days per year).
  • Salary: in addition to your fixed salary, depending on EY's financial performance, you may be eligible for a bonus. You are also entitled to an expense allowance (depending on the position) and an internet allowance of €40 net per month.
  • Time off: you are entitled to 29 vacation days as a senior consultant and 34 vacation days as manager per year when full-time employed. You have the option to purchase additional days.
  • Sabbatical: the option to take unpaid leave after consultation.
  • Bicycle arrangement: finance the purchase cost of your new bicycle through a monthly deduction from your gross salary (the purchase cost is spread over 12 months) or from your non-statutory holiday entitlement.
  • Pension scheme: you will start building a pension capital immediately upon joining EY. Each month, a premium is allocated to your pension account with our pension provider. You also have the option to voluntarily contribute additional funds to your pension.
