The opportunity - What future are you building towards?
As a Director you will have a leading role in the development and execution of operational due diligence and value creation engagements.

Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
You will be part of multi-disciplinary project teams to:
- Analyzing and evaluating value chains as part of large, complex transactions for our domestic and international clients.
- Performing operational, commercial, and financial analyses as part of multi-disciplinary, integrated due diligence teams to understand the target company's performance and uncover improvement opportunities to develop a value creation case.
- Executing developed value creation cases post-deal in alignment with Private Equity Investors and Management Teams of their portfolio companies - ranging from transforming business models and optimizing production footprints, supply chains, and corporate functions, to bettering cash positions and working capital.
- Managing projects and tackling challenges on a day-to-day basis together with your team, coordinating multiple advisory engagements, and inspiring your team to collaborate on shared challenges.
- Interacting with senior client stakeholders to offer advice, shape and drive the strategy, and plan for acquisition opportunities.
- Coaching and helping your team members grow both professionally and personally.
- Contributing to our practice development initiatives with an aim to continuously enhance our team's workplace experience.
Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?
- You should have a minimum of 11 years of relevant M&A experience or operations/supply chain experience in a large international company or within strategic consulting/professional services.
- You should possess an above-average master’s degree in a field related to Science, Engineering or Business Administration.
- You should have a knack for both qualitative and quantitative analysis and the capacity to connect business operations to performance.
- Willingness to swiftly familiarize yourself with new sectors and demonstrate the ability to simplify complex problems to their core drivers is a must.
- Being a robust team player is crucial, with the adaptability to adjust to changing requirements or deadlines in response to our clients' needs.

Flexible working: you decide where and when you work in consultation with your team. At home, at the office, at the client's location, or from another European country (up to 20 working days per year)

Salary: in addition to your fixed salary, depending on EY's financial performance, you may be eligible for a bonus. You are also entitled to an expense allowance (depending on the position) and an internet allowance of €40 net per month

Time off: you are entitled to 29 vacation days as senior consultant and 34 vacation days as manager per year when full-time employed and you have the option to purchase additional days.

Sabbatical: the option to take unpaid leave after consultation

Birth leave: EY will pay 100% of the birth leave; in the case of additional birth leave, EY will pay 70% of the salary

Bicycle arrangement: finance the purchase cost of your new bicycle through a monthly deduction from your gross salary (the purchase cost is spread over 12 months) or from your non-statutory holiday entitlement

Pension scheme: you will start building a pension capital immediately upon joining EY. Each month, a premium is allocated to your pension account with our pension provider. You also have the option to voluntarily contribute additional funds to your pension

Recruitment procedure – How can you prepare for a long life together?
Our hiring process consists of several key steps. After reviewing your CV, we will schedule an introductory call to get to know each other better and address practical matters. An online assessment will be administered to evaluate relevant skills and knowledge. Subsequently, a first interview will assess team fit and personality. If successful, a second interview will involve a case study. Finally, a Partner interview will take place, where you'll have the chance to engage with our leadership. Upon successful completion of the process, we will extend a formal offer to join our team.
Due to laws and regulations, and because EY (and in some cases its clients) has high demands on the reliability and integrity of its employees, every new employee will be screened.
