- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related discipline
Position Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Snowflake Administrator with strong Data Engineering capabilities to support and enhance enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Snowflake platform administration, security, governance, performance optimization, and operational support while also contributing to data engineering initiatives including data ingestion, ETL/ELT development, pipeline automation, and cloud data platform modernization.
- This role requires a blend of platform administration and development expertise, making it ideal for professionals who can manage Snowflake environments while also participating in the design and implementation of scalable data solutions.

- Key Responsibilities
- Snowflake Administration
- Administer and maintain Snowflake environments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
- Manage users, roles, privileges, warehouses, databases, schemas, and access controls using RBAC principles.
- Monitor Snowflake performance, resource consumption, query execution, and storage utilization.
- Configure and manage security controls, masking policies, row-level security, network policies, and authentication mechanisms.
- Perform platform monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Implement and maintain Snowflake governance, data retention, Time Travel, Fail-safe, and cloning strategies.
- Support capacity planning, cost optimization, and warehouse sizing activities.
- Manage environment migrations, deployments, and change management processes.
- Support audit, compliance, and data security requirements.
Data Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Implement data ingestion frameworks using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and related Snowflake services.
- Build and optimize data transformation logic using SQL, Python, and cloud-native technologies.
- Develop and support ingestion of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Create reusable data models, views, stored procedures, and metadata-driven frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and application teams for solution delivery.
- Support CI/CD implementation and automation of deployment processes.
- Participate in production support, issue resolution, and operational excellence activities.
