Employer Brand Manager

 

The opportunity

 

As our Employer Brand Manager, you will act as the central point of expertise for employer branding, bringing together market insights, data, storytelling and creative campaigns to strengthen EY's reputation and enhance the candidate experience in Oceania.  

Working closely with Talent Attraction and Acquisition, Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC), service lines and external partners, you will drive integrated recruitment marketing strategies that support our hiring ambitions across all levels, from students and graduates through to experienced hires.

 This role is a 12-month Parental Leave cover and can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia and New Zealand. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Lead employer branding and talent attraction campaigns aligned with EY’s global brand strategy across digital, social, events and marketing channels.
  • Create and promote compelling content and employee stories that strengthen EY’s employer brand, enhance candidate experience and support recruitment outcomes.
  • Manage EY Careers social media platforms across Australia and New Zealand, using analytics, market insights and event content to drive engagement.
  • Partner with recruiters, stakeholders and external providers to deliver employer branding initiatives, while providing guidance on branding, social media and employee advocacy.
  • Contribute to employer brand strategy and act as a brand guardian, ensuring all content complies with EY branding, risk and compliance standards.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; clear understanding of how to write for different audiences including social media channels
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively, problem-solve, and adapt strategies to meet changing business needs
  • Clear understanding of digital platforms and able to demonstrate innovation and creative campaign approach for various communication channels

 

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn. 

 

  • 2-3 years + experience in employer branding, talent attraction marketing, brand marketing or a related field.
  • Experience working with/for a professional services organisation or an advertising/marketing agency is preferred
  • Experience working with a brand visual identity and brand principles with an understanding of core brand and marketing principles
  • Able to work autonomously and a strong team player
