The opportunity
As a Manager within EY's Technology Strategy & Transformation team in Perth, you will lead the delivery of complex business and technology transformation engagements across asset-intensive sectors.
You will work closely with senior technology executives and multidisciplinary teams to turn strategy into practical outcomes, strengthen project and portfolio delivery, and bring a distinctive technical capability to client engagements. This is a hybrid role based in Perth.
Your key responsibilities
-
Lead end-to-end technology-enabled transformation, project delivery and business improvement engagements
-
Build trusted relationships with senior technology executives and communicate clearly with executive stakeholders and their leadership teams
-
Translate strategic priorities into practical roadmaps, delivery plans, governance arrangements and measurable outcomes
-
Lead project portfolio management, business analysis, technical business analysis and delivery governance activities
-
Apply a distinctive technical capability, such as data analysis and visualisation, solution or enterprise architecture, or agile delivery expertise
-
Manage delivery scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, quality and stakeholder expectations
-
Facilitate workshops and working sessions that drive decisions, alignment and action
-
Coach junior team members and contribute to a strong, delivery-focused team culture
Skills and attributes for success
-
Experience delivering technology strategy, transformation, PMO, project delivery or consulting engagements with tangible business outcomes.
-
Strong project and portfolio delivery capability, including governance, stakeholder management and execution.
-
Confidence working with senior technology executives and communicating complex information in a clear, practical way.
-
A hands-on, outcome-focused approach, with the ability to move from strategy and recommendations into execution.
Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
-
A marketable technical specialisation, such as data analysis and visualisation, solution or enterprise architecture, agile delivery, or another relevant technology capability.
-
Experience in business analysis, technical business analysis or operating model implementation.
-
Consulting experience in mining, utilities, infrastructure or another asset-intensive environment.
