Digital Content Specialist CMS – EY GDS Spain - Hybrid

As a Digital Content Specialist, you will contribute to the creation, editing, publication, and maintenance of website content for a major Italian client. You will work with Content Management Systems, Adobe Experience Manager, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, accessible, and high-quality digital experiences.

 

 

Your work will combine hands-on content management, quality assurance, digital asset management, stakeholder coordination, and operational planning. You will also support multilingual publishing activities and help ensure that content is delivered according to agreed timelines, editorial standards, and client requirements.

 

 

Your key responsibilities
In line with our consulting delivery model, you will be responsible for end-to-end digital content management
activities, including:
· Creating, editing, publishing, and maintaining website pages through Adobe Experience Manager or
comparable CMS platforms.
· Updating text, images, links, documents, metadata, and web components according to business and
editorial requirements.
· Managing static and dynamic digital content across different sections of the client’s website.
· Supporting multilingual content publishing and ensuring consistency across language versions.
· Managing and organizing digital assets through Digital Asset Management solutions.
· Performing pre-publication and post-publication quality checks to ensure content accuracy, visual
consistency, and correct functionality.
· Applying basic updates to HTML and JSON when required.
· Supporting A/B testing activities, preferably through Adobe Target.
· Collaborating with business, functional, design, technical, and content teams to collect and clarify
publishing requirements.
· Identifying content issues, publishing errors, broken links, and accessibility concerns, and coordinating
their resolution.
· Participating in Agile ceremonies, project meetings, and client status updates.
· Communicating progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery issues to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
Skills and attributes for success
To excel in this role, you should bring a combination of digital content capabilities, attention to detail,
organizational skills, and a client-focused mindset:
· Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager,
WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, Shopify, or similar platforms.
· Understanding of website content structures, publishing workflows, metadata, links, images, documents,
and reusable components.
· Strong editorial accuracy and attention to detail.
· Ability to perform structured quality checks before and after content publication.
· Ability to manage several requests, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
· Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across business and technology areas.
· Confidence in communicating with external clients and internal stakeholders.

· Proactive approach, flexibility, and willingness to learn new platforms and processes.
· Ability to work effectively in an Agile or Scrum delivery environment.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have
· A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, Languages, Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Between 2 and 4 years of professional experience in digital content management, website content publishing, digital marketing operations, or a similar role.
· Practical experience using at least one Content Management System.
· Experience creating, editing, publishing, or maintaining website content.
· Native or professional proficiency in Italian, ideally at C1 or C2 level.
· Professional proficiency in English, ideally at B2 level or above.
· Ability to work effectively with international and cross-functional teams.

 

 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have
· Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
· Experience with Adobe Target and A/B testing activities.
· Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or other ticket and workflow management tools.
· Previous experience working with external clients.
· Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments.
· Spanish language skills at B2 level or above.
· Certifications in Agile, Scrum, Prince2, project management, SEO, analytics, or digital marketing.
