The opportunity 

Reporting into the Regional Team Operations Consultant, as a Mobility Assignment Services Specialist for Asia East, you will act as an adviser aligning Mobility solutions with business and talent priorities, and maintaining high quality service and operational excellence. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own and manage a dedicated caseload of mobility assignments within a specific Service Line or country grouping.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to your stakeholders, applying an understanding of business needs and mobility policies to develop solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand the business case of newly initiated assignments and apply the global mobility policy framework to map and determine the appropriate assignment category and relocation package.
  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders in the various Regional Core Business Service functions such as Talent and Finance to ensure they are equipped to support mobility successfully.
  • Partner with home/host Mobility Assignment Services in the development of the appropriate assignment packages and management of the assignments.
  • Support and guide service line, finance and Talent stakeholders as needed, to influence the budgeting process.
  • Instruct the offshore support team on all activities as per scope of service, and review and monitor output.
  • Utilize the global mobility tool to manage assignment data effectively, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout all phases of assignment management, while leveraging insights for informed decision-making and reporting.
  • Monitor vendor services to ensure consistent and exceptional service delivery, manage exceptions and issues for resolution and provide feedback to continually improve operations.
  • Action and manage all major on-assignment events for assignees, including salary review, payroll cut-off dates and annual allowance reviews.

 

Due to global nature of the role, willingness to work flexible hours will be required.

 

You must have

  • Good knowledge and experience of international Mobility, policies, processes, and systems. Equus Assignment Pro knowledge is an advantage.
  • Experience dealing with region tax, immigration, and social security legislation.
  • Good understanding of payroll requirements for compensation instructions.
  • Good level of business acumen.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory capabilities with ability to build relationships and networks internally.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages across all organisational levels and cultures
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple objectives
  • Ability to work effectively within a virtual teaming and complex stakeholder matrix environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Ability to work independently and with limited supervision in a global team.
