The opportunity


We are looking for a highly motivated Network Security & Zero Trust Manager to lead strategic initiatives across networking, cybersecurity, automation, and project delivery. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to design and implement modern network architectures, drive Zero Trust adoption, automate operational processes, and successfully manage complex infrastructure and security projects.

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Lead the planning and execution of network and security transformation projects.
  • Develop and implement Zero Trust security strategies and architecture.
  • Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise network solutions.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Coordinate project activities, timelines, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and business teams.
  • Establish governance, standards, and best practices for network and security operations.
  • Monitor project performance and ensure delivery against objectives.
  • Support security assessments, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve network reliability, security posture, and user experience.
  • Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and executive presentations.


Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Cybersecurity / Information Systems or relevant discipline
  • At least 4 years of practical experience in network engineering, cybersecurity, or infrastructure management
  • At least 2 years of experience as project manager or team leader
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and modern security frameworks.
  • Experience leading technical projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of automation technologies and scripting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Enterprise Networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN)
  • Zero Trust Architecture
  • Network Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC)
  • Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Juniper
  • Network Automation (Ansible, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code)
  • VPN and Remote Access Technologies
  • Project Management (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Stakeholder and Vendor Management
  • Documentation and Technical Writing
  • Communication and Leadership Skills
  • Fluent or native English required – C1 / CAE certification preferred
  • AI proficiency at business and personal level (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT)
  • Open to European candidates willing to relocate to Katowice

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or similar certifications.
  • Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), Microsoft, Palo Alto, or Fortinet certifications.
  • Cloud Networking (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
  • Scripting and Automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Risk Management and Security Governance
  • Network Monitoring and Observability Tools
  • Cybersecurity Frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)
