You will join the EY’s Salesforce services team within Technology Consulting, working closely with communities of transformation focussed professionals who work together to deliver this change, sharing modern engineering enablement and smart automation to optimise delivery and speed to outcome. These teams have deep functional knowledge and experience across our client’s core business functions, combined with deep technical skills to lead and deliver business outcome led high quality client solutions. Our management consultants and our technology consultants have the same objectives – client focused, functional advice combined with technology enablement, one team, one dialogue, driving change and outcomes.
The role as a Salesforce Technical Consultant/Architect is a fantastic opportunity to get involved and lead the transformation of clients’ businesses, leveraging strong technical domain, technical architecture and Salesforce platform expertise, into tangible business KPIs and outcomes and build digital solutions that drive value for their customers and employees.

Your key responsibilities:
As mentioned above EY is hiring Technical Consultants across a wide range of experience levels. The role of technical consultants within EY is described below – the extent of ownership or support of each of these roles is subject to the candidate’s experience level.
Market / Client Centricity
- Build and manage client relationships across Financial Services, Corporates, and Public Sector
- Identify client challenges and define Salesforce-led transformation opportunities
- Develop technical capability maps and delivery plans aligned to business needs
- Collaborate with architects, SMEs, and client stakeholders to drive solutions
- Expand stakeholder networks across EY, Salesforce, and client teams
- Lead or support bid scoping, shaping, and estimation for transformation engagements
Technical Architecture & Solution Design
- Provide technical leadership across Salesforce platform and ecosystem (Core Clouds, Industries, MuleSoft, Data Cloud)
- Define enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, and SaaS solutions
- Lead analysis of current and target-state architectures to define requirements
- Design scalable, future-proof solutions aligned to business objectives
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solution components
- Lead technical workstreams including requirements capture and solution definition
People Leadership
- Line manage and coach technical consultants and developers
- Build team capability across architecture, design, and delivery practices
- Lead technical workstreams or act as Technical Lead on programmes
- Drive team performance, quality, and delivery outcomes
- Support continuous development and performance management of team members
Skills and attributes for success
Required
- 7–15 years consulting or Salesforce experience
- Minimum 3 Salesforce certifications
- Strong technical architecture and solution design capability
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and quality
- Ability to prioritise in dynamic environments
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Desirable
- Experience leading technical workshops and requirements gathering
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience delivering large-scale Salesforce implementations
- Expertise across Salesforce ecosystem (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing Clouds)
- Enterprise architecture and design experience
- Experience with Veeva CRM
- Salesforce Industry Cloud or Agentforce experience/certification
Prior experience with Consulting
