About Global Delivery Services
Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.
Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Insurance professional to support financial reporting across US GAAP and US Stat frameworks. The role involves preparation of regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with SEC and NAIC requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, and review quarterly and annual NAIC and SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
- Ensure compliance with NAIC, SEC, and regulatory reporting standards
- Work on financial schedules, disclosures, and supporting documentation
- Ensure adherence and meeting the KPIs and SLA
- Receive direction from the Manager and Senior Manager
- Maintain effective coordination with multiple stakeholders
- Build the necessary documents like SOPs and other end user training materials
- Ensure high-quality client service by overseeing and guiding the daily progress of project activities Follow through on client requests in a timely fashion, and manage expectations regarding the timing of deliverables and reports
- Supporting the development and management of the relationships with external and internal (EY) clients
- Support audit requirements including walkthroughs and documentation
- Oversee and validate sub-ledger accounting processes (policy, claims, premiums, reinsurance, etc.)
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations
Finance Transformation & Process Excellence
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including process standardization and automation
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and reduce cycle times
- Support adoption of digital tools and automation
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in accounting/reporting, with 3+ years in Insurance (Life/P&C)
- Strong expertise in:
- US GAAP Reporting
- US Stat Reporting
- Understanding of reinsurance accounting, loss reserves, premiums, and operational expenses according to statutory requirements.
- Strong understanding of sub-ledger accounting and financial close processes
- Experience with accounting software(e.g., SAP, Oracle) and reporting systems (e.g., GAIN, Wings) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and financial review skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with auditors and regulatory stakeholders
Qualifications
- CA / MBA / M.Com or equivalent
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and reporting frameworks
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Office tools
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in Big 4 consulting firms, Insurance organizations
- Knowledge on any Data analytics/visualisation tools will be additional advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy
- Self-driven and proactive with ability to manage end-to-end responsibilities
- Mindset for continuous improvement, transformation, and digital adoption
