The opportunity

EY re-invents businesses, developing business models, innovation strategies and customer experiences that fast-track growth and transform clients, helping them remain relevant and create long term value. As a business, product and service innovation strategist, you’ll be guiding and inspiring creative expression and idea generation, developing complex concepts into structured thinking, and rapid and impactful problem solving. You’ll need to test and iterate what we design and develop through incubation of live initiatives, at the same time cascading new ways of working into our clients (as well as our own) organisations. You’ll need to understand the fundamentals of business models and the potential impacts that competitive and operating environments have on organisations, as well as an understanding of how to navigate change. You’ll often deliver through a workshop based approach when developing business model transformation, innovation strategy, customer experience and transformation execution plans.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with our local and regional leaders to refine and implement EY’s Customer & Growth strategic vision to develop comprehensive value propositions for our go to market approach.
  • Drive the identification and pursuit of key sales opportunities at global priority accounts, locally as well as across the EMEIA region, ultimately accelerating the growth and market penetration of the Customer & Growth portfolio.
  • Partner with and continue to strengthen cross-service line collaboration with our multidisciplinary teams to define business strategies, user needs and optimal solutions to bring the best of EY to our clients.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison between sales teams and solution development teams, facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of our Customer & Growth solution portfolio.
  • Lead integration and connections with the Customer Europe network to grow Switzerland’s position in that network, and to bring the best of that network to client projects.
  • Enable the implementation of concepts, solutions and systems that have been defined through research, strategy, ideation and innovation.
  • Driving innovation of business models and ideas through a portfolio of innovations that creates long term value. Design, develop and implement innovation programs at our leading clients, helping each client build the innovation capability that will enable them to reimagine their futures, achieving customer–centric sustainable growth that creates long term value.
  • Accelerating rapid, agile innovation projects from idea to implementation, involving all capabilities within EY. Drive stakeholder management and contribute to hands-on to the transformation office that will coordinate implementation while guiding colleagues or clients throughout the innovation process.
  • Enhance your own client project portfolio in collaboration with your peers and strengthen internal and external business relationships to build client relationships and establish the team as a trusted advisor in the marketplace.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development within the Customer domain, while also serving as a role model and advocate for organizational values and culture.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • A Bachelors degree indegree in business science or management with excellent results.
  • At least 8 years of (consulting) work experience with a focus on solution development and activation.
  • Leadership capabilities demonstrate responsibility, building high performing teams, scaling through teamwork and collaboration across the EMEIA region,
  • Consulting experience within a global Consulting business with experience in leading teams, solutions or clients across multiple countries and service lines.
  • Experience working with or in digital, customer or marketing agencies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to network with internal and external stakeholders, especially in influencing multi-country teams to collaborate and commit to project outcomes.
  • Experience in a Customer & Growth focused Consulting business across Europe, demonstrating knowledge of the different markets we operate in, the offerings delivered in and organisations that operate in those markets.
  • Detailed knowledge of Customer & Growth offerings and demonstrated experience in customer sales.
  • Experience in developing and activation Consulting solutions across multiple markets and multiple countries.
  • Have an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset, and are enthusiastic and collaborate well in teams. We are looking for inclusive people who value differences and have a real desire to both learn and coach others.
