Senior Manager, Data & Delivery Intelligence (DID), Transformation Assurance, Zurich
Job description
The opportunity
As Senior Manager for Program and Transformation Assurance, your role is to enable EY teams to support clients in delivering complex transformation programs with confidence, clarity, and consistency. You provide the structure, tools, and strategic guidance that empower client-facing colleagues to drive growth, manage risk, and realize value across business, technology, and program domains.
A key part of this role is supporting change—not just in systems and processes, but in how people work, collaborate, and adapt. You help teams navigate uncertainty, build trust, and engage stakeholders effectively by embedding change management principles into transformation assurance frameworks.
This role is about creating the conditions for success: connecting service lines, shaping go-to-market strategies, developing enablement materials, and building performance and reporting structures that support quality, visibility, and continuous improvement. Through early involvement and cross-functional collaboration, you help make transformation assurance a standard of excellence across EY.
Key Responsibilities
Go-To-Market Strategy & Execution
- Shape and execute go-to-market strategies that position Transformation Assurance as a trusted, independent offering—bringing confidence to transformation programs through early involvement, risk insight, and value realization.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics that inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including sales, marketing, and product development—to craft compelling value propositions and messaging.
- Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, leveraging digital platforms, events, and thought leadership to drive awareness and engagement.
- Continuously monitor and analyse GTM performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize outcomes and ensure strategic alignment.
Client Engagement & Business Development
- Drive client engagement by identifying transformation triggers and aligning EY’s capabilities with client needs—ensuring early involvement, de-risking major programs, and converting strategic opportunities into long-term partnerships.
- Support the pursuit of complex, cross-functional opportunities by aligning internal experts with emerging client needs and strategic priorities.
- Facilitate cross-service line collaboration to convert pipeline opportunities into high-value engagements.
- Identify and shape new business opportunities in areas such as IPO readiness, finance function improvement, CSRD implementation, digital transformation, internal investigations, and regulatory compliance.
- Engage with alliance partners to strengthen relationships, gain insights into client needs and market developments, and identify opportunities for joint value creation.
- Strategically select and prioritize projects that align with client investments and maximize market potential.
Executive Enablement & Leadership Support
- Enable executives to confidently engage in transformation conversations by providing training, methodologies, and one-pagers that support first pitches, stakeholder alignment, and sustained delivery excellence.
- Prepare executives to engage confidently in transformation initiatives, ensuring they understand their role and can articulate their impact to clients.
- Deliver executive-level reporting and operational support, enabling leadership to focus on high-impact activities and strategic decision-making.
- Empower executives to contribute thought leadership, positioning themselves—and EY—as trusted voices in transformation programs.
Thought Leadership & Brand Building
- Develop and showcase thought leadership in areas such as ESG, AI, and finance transformation—positioning EY as a trusted advisor through proactive guidance, cross-service collaboration, and visible impact.
- Design and lead client-facing events and brand-building initiatives, fostering deeper engagement and collaboration with strategic partners.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks that track transformation impact, enable transparent governance, and support continuous improvement across client engagements and internal delivery.
- Establish transparent reporting processes that ensure accountability and enable data-driven decision-making.
Skills and Attributes for Success
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development or a similar role within a professional services environment with an understanding of assurance services.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and engage confidently with senior stakeholders, including C-suite and board-level executives.
- A demonstrated ability to identify, shape, and drive new business opportunities by fostering collaboration across multiple service lines and teams.
- A relevant project management certificate (e.g. PMP or similar) and/or proven project management experience is required
- A strategic and forward-thinking mindset, with the ability to align internal capabilities to emerging client needs in complex, cross-functional contexts.
