At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.

Join EY and help to build a better working world.

Shape the future of Finance

At EY, we help leading organizations reimagine the finance function—combining deep Finance and Accounting expertise with data, cloud and leading Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) technology. Our teams advise CFOs, Group Controllers and Finance leaders on high-impact transformations that improve the speed, transparency and reliability of financial consolidation, close, planning, forecasting and enterprise reporting.

You will join a multidisciplinary, international team delivering complex programs from strategy and roadmap through process design, solution architecture, implementation, testing, deployment and continuous improvement. Our work connects Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Sustainability, Data and Technology—giving you the opportunity to solve critical business challenges and build modern, trusted finance capabilities.

The opportunity

As a Senior Consultant, you will take meaningful ownership within EPM and finance transformation engagements. You will work closely with client teams to understand complex requirements, challenge existing ways of working and translate business needs into practical process and solution designs. You will combine consolidation knowledge, structured problem-solving and hands-on delivery skills to create sustainable outcomes for our clients.

Your key responsibilities

  • Analyze and redesign statutory and management consolidation, group reporting, financial close, planning, forecasting and management reporting processes.

  • Facilitate interviews and design workshops; document requirements and translate them into future-state processes, functional designs, data models, business rules, workflows, controls, dashboards and reports.

  • Support the design, configuration and implementation of CCH Tagetik, OneStream or comparable EPM platforms across consolidation, reporting and performance management use cases.

  • Apply consolidation concepts including legal and management structures, ownership changes, currency translation, intercompany matching and eliminations, equity and investment consolidation, cash flow, retained earnings and close controls.

  • Contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, including assessment, fit-gap analysis, prototyping, build, data migration, reconciliation, testing, cutover, training, deployment and post-go-live stabilization.

  • Help integrate EPM solutions with ERP systems and enterprise data platforms, establishing controlled, traceable and scalable finance data flows.

  • Prepare high-quality client deliverables, decision papers, recommendations and executive-ready presentations.

  • Build trusted working relationships across Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Sustainability, Data, IT and Audit stakeholders.

  • Support proposals, solution demonstrations, internal knowledge development and the continuous improvement of our methods and assets.

What we look for

  • Approximately 2–6 years of relevant experience in consulting, financial consolidation, group reporting, EPM, planning or finance transformation.

  • Strong understanding of consolidation and reporting principles, ideally including IFRS or another major reporting framework, intercompany processes, foreign currency translation, ownership structures, close governance and auditability.

  • Hands-on functional or technical experience with CCH Tagetik, OneStream or another leading EPM platform; implementation or certification experience is an advantage.

  • Experience contributing to requirements, design, configuration, testing, data migration, deployment or business adoption activities.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex topics, identify practical solutions and communicate them clearly.

  • Confidence working with client stakeholders and contributing effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams.

  • A proactive, quality-focused and collaborative mindset, with the curiosity to learn and the confidence to challenge constructively.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
