The targets and clients within our Swiss Mid-Market are a crucial focus area of EY. These businesses range from start-ups all the way to multi-billion-dollar global private companies.

 

To support our ambitious growth agenda within the Swiss Mid-Market, EY is seeking a highly motivated professional to join its Private Hub team in Zurich.

 

The role sits at the intersection of regional leadership support, business development, and selected account coordination, working closely with the Regional Leader / Office Managing Partner for Zurich, the Regional Leadership Team, and senior client account stakeholders, including Global Client Service Partners (GCSPs).

 

In this role, you will actively enable business development initiatives, support key client relationships, coordinate regional activities, and contribute to the continued growth, visibility, and market presence of EY within the Zurich private market ecosystem.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

Regional Leadership Team Support

  • Prepare presentation materials and track action points for monthly Regional Leadership meetings
  • Organize Lunch Connect sessions (1–2 per month), including coordination with speakers

 

Event Management

Coordinate and support a range of internal and external events, including:

  • Alumni event
  • Partner Lunches
  • Internal Networking Forums
  • Selected external sponsorship events

 

Internal Budget Management

  • Monitor and track expenses related to regional events and activities
  • Review and evaluate event proposals in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate and process travel requests
  • Collect, align and submit annual budget proposals

 

Account Support

  • Schedule and organize account team meetings
  • Depending on agreed scope, prepare reports and presentation materials, and participate in account calls
  • Support and manage annual account nomination process

 

Newsletter and Mailings

  • Collect and consolidate topics for internal newsletters
  • Distribute general information related to the Zurich office and maintain internal SharePoint content

 

Evacuation / Crisis Management

  • Support evacuation and crisis management activities in coordination with the Office Managing Partner

 

Sports and Engagement Initiatives

  • Support and promote new initiatives launched by the Zurich Regional Leadership

 

What we look for

 

  • Successful completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent), ideally with initial professional experience
  • Proficiency in German and English
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders at various levels
  • A collaborative, proactive and reliable working style
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on time
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
  • Self-discipline, motivation, and curiosity
  • A genuine team player, committed to long-term collaboration and development
