Job description
Our People Advisory Services business (PAS) is focused on people management and our vision is to help our clients get it right in all its facets. PAS has three key pillars: Transformation (Workforce Advisory), mobile talent and workforce enablement (Integrated Mobility) and transactions (Reward and HR M&A). In Reward, we help our clients to manage the complex challenges in executive/board rewards, pensions/benefits, corporate transactions and equally broader based reward topics such as regulatory compliance, broad based equity programs, grading, performance management and the like.

Your key responsibilities
- Join and support projects in close collaboration with our clients. Possible topics among other are:
- Benchmarking projects on both executive level and broader workforce
- Design of compensation plans, incentive structures for different stakeholders as well as reward policies
- Design and implementation of job grading and job architecture
- Conducting remuneration surveys and analysis of remuneration data
- Support project planning, data analysis, report writing and development of presentation material
- Work with key project leaders to manage and maintain client relationships
- Working collaboratively with other workforce advisory colleagues as well as service lines and colleagues across EY globally
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
- University degree in Economics / Finance combined with a strong understanding of HR topics
- 7+ years of experience in corporate HR, Compensation & Benefits an/or HR Consulting
- Qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills as well as ability to create appropriate data presentations
- Strong written and verbal English and German communication skills and experience of producing high calibre reports, papers, presentations
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in working on people matters such as key employee retention, compensation and benefits programmes
- Deep experience in HR topics and people consulting such as conducting remuneration surveys, supporting in day-to-day management of a company’s remuneration offering, knowledge about market trends in the field of rewards and key drivers, HR generalist background
- Experience of supporting projects/ workstreams
- Team player mentality with the ability to integrate with new teams quickly
- Ability to analyze very complex problems and to deliver insightful, practical and sustainable solutions
- Pragmatic and adaptable with the ability to deal with ambiguity and effectively manage conflict
