The Competition
NextGen Women is an exciting two-stage competition designed to empower female students to take their first step in the world of Strategy and Transactions or Consulting at EY. Challenge your technical abilities in a group and showcase your individual skills during our Swiss competition on 14th (online) and 15th (in-person) May 2025.
Country winners are invited to attend the global finals and collaborate to solve a case study, culminating with the announcement of the EY NextGen Women global winners.

Diving into Strategy & Transactions and Consulting

Our Consulting competencies house our world-class capabilities in Business Transformation & Customer, Finance, and Supply Chain that our clients need in order to design and deliver long-term value through transformation.
Who we are looking for
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Switzerland in a field of study that demonstrates an interest in business and can be leveraged to build a career in Strategy and Transactions or Consulting. Some examples may include (not limited to) Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Management, Marketing;
• Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in German advantageous; French is a plus;
• Ability to work in Switzerland without restrictions;
• Passionate about Building a Better Working World, demonstrated through extra-curricular and/or community service projects;
• Interested in a practical learning approach and in learning-by-doing;
• Curious about new ways of working and how the use of technology can impact how businesses make decisions;
• A strong team player with the ability to build quality relationships with colleagues and clients;
• Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable working with data and ability to recognize patterns;
• Being a creative thinker with a global mindset and inclusive mentality.
