Director - AI Services - AI Governance and Attestation - Zurich Assurance
Job description
The opportunity
As Director of AI Services – AI Data, Governance and Attestation, you will drive the development and delivery of Assurance AI services (including AI data quality & AI model testing) across Switzerland. You will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of Assurance AI service offerings, building and scaling the team, and ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with regulatory and ethical standards.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of AI data quality/readiness and model testing and validation frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Oversee data quality testing protocols to ensure integrity and reliability of AI-ready data used in Assurance engagements.
- Drive on go-to-market strategies, including client activation, proposal development, and engagement acceptance.
- Collaborate across Assurance subservice lines to integrate AI governance into broader transformation and risk offerings.
- Engage shared services and centers of excellence to standardize data supply chain operations.
- Maintain and expand relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, clients, and internal leadership.
Skills and attributes for success
- 10+ years of working experience including a degree in Business, Technology/Data Science, Finance, Statistics or related field.
- Proven experience in AI model validation, data quality assurance, and risk management.
- Familiarity with data supply chain related initiatives to standardize and centralize data operations services such as those provided by shared services or center of excellence.
- Strong understanding of AI governance frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, EU AI Act, etc.).
- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles, including proposal development and strategic account activation.
- External certifications in AI governance, ethics, or compliance.
- Experience working across multiple service lines within Assurance.
- Familiarity with centralized data operations and shared service models.
