The opportunity

EY Global Security promotes a safe and secure working environment for EY colleagues and at EY’s offices in Switzerland. As a Country Security Manager you will play a key role in driving the local implementation of Global Security policies and guidance and will develop and mature key elements of core Global Security disciplines consistent with local threats and risks. You will work closely with Swiss as well as Region Leadership subject matter experts on security, crisis management and risk issues.


Your key responsibilities

  • You have a facilitating and supporting role in providing advice, training and coaching and you are jointly responsible for setting up and monitoring relevant security processes within EY Switzerland and EY Austria, including facilitating and/or performing risk assessments
  • You contribute to the safeguarding of the security of partners and employees by advising on physical security, safety while travelling and during events
  • You advise leadership on building security measures, based on your own observations and you ensure the correct implementation
  • You train our staff by transfering knowledge and create security awareness
  • You support the activities in the field of crisis management and business continuity
  • You identify (new) developments regarding internal and external threats in order to be able to advise and report pro-actively
  • As a Country Security Officer, you will also contribute to further develop the function in the Europe West region

As a Country Security Officer, you are able to analyse threats and risks in written form, in order to subsequently communicate them to your stakeholders in a pleasant and constructive manner. Moreover, you can anticipate and adapt to change and quickly arising situations. You have a representative and positive attitude, independence and reliability, and you are willing to take ownership of any issue, big or small. Discretion and integrity fit your work profile as well as accuracy. You have a pro-active approach mentality and find quality important. You are a true team player who knows how to tactfully move in an inclusive and diverse work environment.


To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor degree which is complimentented with relevant further education and ideally be supported by relevant courses such as CPP, CSMP, PSP, CBCI, CSyP, CBCP/MBCP or similar
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a dynamic, international environment
  • You are fluent in English; French and/or German are a plus
  • Good command of Microsoft Office
