Our Account Management Center of Excellence (CoE) is embedded in the Core Business Services (CBS) team – we are experts in Business Process Management, Customer Relationship Management and specific business areas who can draw on numerous best practices and tools in their work. We are a standalone unit responsible for supporting the business and seeing even the most complex projects through to successful completion.
We bridge EY's overarching strategy and day-to-day operations, document lessons learned and best practices, and facilitate the reuse and adaptation of proven solutions to our various stakeholders.
We are looking to hire 1 position 50% temporary until July 2025 and 1 position 50% permanently.
Your key responsibilities

Drive account management for various accounts through sales and program management, account communications and administration under leadership of the Account Management Leader and in close collaboration with the Global Client Service Partner (GCSP)

Work with the CoE, GCSP and global account team to achieve the goals for global revenue, margin and sales/pipeline

Ensure that all locations and Service Lines of the firm are actively engaged and that we deliver Exceptional Client Service in all internal and external encounters

Support account strategy working with account leadership and drive global execution of account plan

Understand both the client’s business agenda and EY services to enable leveraging the global EY network to connect our clients to the right people

Act as a project manager for specific account activity

Manage selected client relationships e.g., procurement

Manage the account pipeline process and drive discipline across global team

Serve as subject matter expert for all information related to the account

Influence without direct authority, frequently providing coaching and input to a high level of firm leadership

Act as a peer or mentor to new Account Coordinators
Skills and attributes for success
-
A bachelor's or post-graduate degree (emphasis in Marketing or Business preferred) or equivalent relevant experience
-
3-5 years of account management or similar relevant experience, ideally gained within a global multinational company in Switzerland

Very proactive nature, detail-oriented with demonstrated account and project management skills/tools, ability to meet tight deadlines and coordinate multiple projects at one time

Must have excellent proficiency in German and English writing, speaking, and presenting skills.

Strategic thinking and excellent Excel and data analytical skills as well as computer skills (including Microsoft suite and Internet-based research)

Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

Proven sound judgment and flexibility in balancing multiple project requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule, with high attention to detail

Strong business/commercial acumen and an understanding of the life sciences sector

Strong attention to detail and sound organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Proactive self-starter with a committed team-oriented attitude

Flexible and resilient to changing priorities
