The opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist in Process Automation within our Global Compliance and Reporting team in the Tax department, with a focus on accounting and financial processes, to join our dynamic team. This role will concentrate on automating financial operations, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency in accounting and payroll processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, combined with a passion for technology-driven solutions.
Your key responsibilities
- Analyze existing accounting and financial processes to identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Develop, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to standardize financial operations across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency in accounting and payroll functions.
- Utilize technology tools and platforms to streamline financial operations and reduce manual effort in areas such as invoicing, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of automation initiatives in accounting and finance, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to team members on new financial processes and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in accounting automation and financial technology.
Skills and attributes for success
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A degree in IT or additional IT education is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process automation within accounting and finance, with a proven track record of successful project implementation.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in automation software and technologies relevant to accounting (e.g., RPA, financial management systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results
