The opportunity

As a Senior Accountant in Global Compliance and Reporting, you will have the opportunity to provide clients with an integrated, consistent, and high-quality service that unlocks the full potential of the compliance function. Your responsibilities will include supporting tax compliance processes, statutory financial statement preparation, and tax accounting calculations.

This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth through a broad range of engagements, collaboration with experienced colleagues, mentoring, and formal learning programs.

 

Your key responsibilities

You will combine our global compliance methodologies and tools with your local accounting and compliance expertise to help clients gain greater visibility and control over their domestic and/or global compliance and reporting requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality compliance and reporting services to clients
  • Building, maintaining, and strengthening internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Identifying potential risks and escalating issues when appropriate
  • Ensuring compliance with internal quality and risk management requirements
  • Contributing to a positive team culture by coaching, mentoring, and supporting junior team members in their professional development

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Croatian and English
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • Proactive approach and attention to detail
