EU Funds Junior Consultant (m/f)

The opportunity
EU Funds Junior Consultant will work with the Croatian ministries, public institutions and private sector clients in supporting the preparation and implementation of EU funded programs and projects. It's a highly varied area and you’ll always have opportunities to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
This is a rapidly growing area, so there are plenty of opportunities to broaden your skill set and develop as we do. Most of your time will be spent embedded within our team or directly within our clients’ teams, so you’ll also build a network of relationships across multiple industries.
Your key responsibilities
- Working on consulting projects related to the following areas:
- EU programs and projects preparation and implementation (various sectors), including preparation of Feasibility studies and/or Cost-benefit analysis
- Capacity building of public institutions - process improvement, performance management, risk management etc.
- Information gathering tasks like interviews and surveys, reviewing existing research reports, performing workshops and conducting analytical tasks like data analysis and comparisons, cost benefit analysis, feasibility analysis etc.
- Screening of funding opportunities and summarizing most important information contained in the calls for proposals
- Preparation of power point presentations as a part of engagements’ delivery, as well as for business development purposes
- Public procurement related activities (preparing proposals for public procurement tenders; control of procurement process and documentation, preparation of tender dossiers etc.).
Skills and attributes for success
- University degree
- Knowledge related to EU programs and funding mechanisms
- Experience in preparation and/or implementation of EU funded projects is considered an advantage
- Experience in preparation of feasibility studies and/or cost-benefit analysis is considered an advantage
- Strong ambition and problem-solving skills
- Hard-working with a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent command of MS Office
- Excellent command of English and Croatian
