Job description
Climate Change and Sustainability Service (CCaSS) at EY helps businesses manage societal, environmental, and economic challenges due to changing market demands and regulations. We assist clients in understanding the impact of their activities and ensuring compliance with new EU regulations on sustainability reporting, including CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and ESRS. Our team advises on managing sustainability risks, improving internal processes, and preparing sustainability reports.
The opportunity
We are looking to expand our team of professionals focused on providing high value, independent and trusted advice to our clients with related to ESG/Sustainability matters. As an Assistant in CCaSS, you will work as part of a team to develop project work and advise EY's clients on sustainability advisory and related services. You will play a key role in contributing to the growth and development of the CCaSS practice by taking operational responsibility and accountability for engagement team support and delivery.
Your key responsibilities:
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries, assisting organizations on how they manage and report on a broad range of sustainability and climate-related risks and impacts
• Contribute to strategy, solutions, methodologies, analytical frameworks, and tools to help clients succeed and navigate complex regulatory environments and manage stakeholder expectations
• Assist clients in developing and implementing sustainability reporting, setting targets, and creating plans to enhance sustainability value for various topics, including diversity, waste, and environmental impacts
• Review clients' sustainability reports to ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ESRS)
• Ensure work is delivered in a timely manner and in compliance with EY's high standard requirements
• Assist in organizing sustainability workshops, webinars, conferences, and training sessions
To qualify for the role you must have:
• A University degree (preferably in ecology, engineering, circular economy, climate change, or other sustainability related discipline)
• Work experience in a position focused on internal/external sustainability advisory and reporting is an advantage
• General understanding of sustainability reporting requirements
• Ambition to learn, advance and excel in knowledge and experience
• Teaming and orientation towards achievement of personal and team goals
• Proficient English language knowledge
