The opportunity

We are currently seeking for Accounting Assistant in Global Compliance and Reporting, to support our constantly growing tax team and help our clients in tax projects at different industry sectors. Since we offer leadership in all tax disciplines, you’ll acquire broad and deep tax and business skills to advance your career.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Process invoices for postings in general ledger
  • Process weekly pay-cycles and postings of bank statements
  • Managing relationships with both internal and external clients and vendors, coordinate reconciliations
  • Assisting in preparation of management and statutory reports
  • Assisting in regular annual statutory audit
  • Attending and taking notes of client meetings and calls
  • Managing (under supervision) an allocated portfolio of work
  • Day to day oral and written communication with clients
  • Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures


Skills and attributes for success

  • Bacc/ master’s degree in economics (Accounting, Managerial Informatics or Analysis and Business planning)
  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience (including student work)
  • Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Croatian and English
