Workforce Strategy & Development Manager

 

Location: Wrocław - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The Workforce Strategy & Development Manager is responsible for shaping and executing workforce, talent acquisition and talent development strategies across Consulting in Poland. Working closely with Consulting leaders, the role supports business growth by ensuring the organization has the right talent, capabilities and leadership capacity to meet current and future needs. The role combines strategic recruitment, workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, employer branding and retention initiatives to build a strong talent and leadership pipeline. Through workforce analytics, talent insights and strategic planning, the position helps strengthen organizational effectiveness, succession readiness and the long-term growth of the Consulting practice in Poland.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Develop and execute cross-location hiring strategies across Poland aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Partner with Consulting leaders to forecast workforce needs and build sustainable talent pipelines.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to strengthen talent attraction and acquisition.

 

Recruitment Performance & Strategy

  • Define, monitor and drive recruitment targets and KPIs.
  • Support the development of recruitment offers, establish location-specific hiring guidelines and monitor exceptions to agreed recruitment and compensation frameworks across locations, ensuring alignment with business and workforce planning objectives.
  • Analyze the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of hiring strategies, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Identify recruitment challenges and implement actions to improve hiring quality, speed, and conversion rates.

 

Internship & Early Careers Programs

  • Lead the planning and delivery of internship and graduate recruitment programs.
  • Ensure successful onboarding and conversion of top-performing interns into permanent hires.

 

Leadership Recruitment, Development & Succession Planning

  • Support recruitment processes for Senior Leadership Team and other critical leadership positions.
  • Conduct market mapping and strategic sourcing for key leadership roles.
  • Partner with leadership and HR stakeholders to support succession planning for business-critical positions.
  • Identify and strengthen internal leadership pipelines, assess successor readiness, and contribute to talent review discussions.
  • Support the design and implementation of leadership development programs that accelerate the readiness of high-potential talent and strengthen succession pipelines for key leadership roles.
  • Collaborate on leadership development initiatives, succession strategies, and programs that ensure leadership continuity and long-term organizational growth.
  • Support the design and implementation of career development pathways and development initiatives for GDS G&I Industry talent, including learning programs, leadership development activities, mentoring, and talent-focused events that strengthen capability building and employee growth.

 

Employee Retention & Organizational Culture

  • Identify talent retention risks and implement workforce strategies that support long-term organizational growth and capability needs
  • Partner with business leaders and HR teams to identify retention risks and implement improvement actions.
  • Support programs that enhance employee experience and organizational culture.

 

Employer Branding & Market Presence

  • Support and coordinate external employer branding initiatives that strengthen the Consulting organization's market presence and attractiveness as an employer.
  • Partner with Recruitment, Marketing and business leaders to design and deliver recruitment-focused events, university partnerships, career fairs and networking events.
  • Promote the Consulting Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and showcase career opportunities to attract top talent across all experience levels.
  • Measure the effectiveness of branding activities and recommend improvements to increase candidate engagement and talent pipeline quality.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • 10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, Recruitment Strategy, Talent Management or related HR functions.
  • Experience in Consulting, Professional Services or a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate workforce data into business decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and project management skills.
  • Experience supporting executive-level recruitment, leadership development and talent management initiatives is highly desirable.
