The opportunity
As a Business Change Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing business change initiatives for large and complex projects. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance awareness, drive adoption, and maximize business value from company-facing technology platforms, including M365, security tools, AI, M365 Copilot and mobile applications.
You will design and oversee impactful campaigns aimed at implementing and promoting the adoption of technology products among all EY employees. This role offers you the opportunity to empower employees to embrace new ways of working by creating engaging change campaigns that resonate across all levels of the organization, thereby reinforcing EY's commitment to building a better working world.
This role requires experience in digital adoption strategies, focusing on user classification across the adoption curve to foster behavioral changes that enhance productivity.
This is a non-client facing role, with great flexibility to work from a home office with limited travel. This role is guided by the BRM Service Adoption Change Management Lead.
Your key responsibilities
Change Management Strategy
- Develop holistic business change plans tailored to various factors such as product, audience, legal/regulatory practices, and digital adoption strategies.
- Focus on user classification across the adoption curve to foster behavioral changes that enhance productivity.
- Design and oversee impactful campaigns aimed at implementing and promoting the adoption of technology products among all EY employees
- Tailor change plans for technology specific demands from the lens of both business and end-users.
Product Activation and Adoption
- Execute product activation processes and practices, including change impact assessments, business cases for adoption, communication strategies, stakeholder management, and lessons learned.
- Build and execute campaigns that reflect on success measures and optimize user engagement.
- Create engaging narratives of the change user journey, utilizing imagery to convey complex data insights and the change story effectively.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with change, content, and engagement teams within the Service Adoption team to deliver complex, enterprise-wide technology adoption programs.
- Present information effectively to key leaders and stakeholders, both individually and in group settings.
- Maintain ongoing communication with all team members, management, and stakeholders.
Overall Management
- Oversee weekly stakeholder reporting and the creation of impacted user lists, utilizing tools like PowerPoint and Excel for presentations and data analysis.
- Identify potential points of contention for missed deliverables and implement strategies to mitigate risks in timelines and budgets.
- Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement within the function/experience theme, including personnel, processes, metrics, and collateral.
To qualify for the role you must have
- 8+ years of experience leading and managing complex business and end user change projects in a change management role
- Proven experience in developing large-scale change management plans, including change readiness assessments, stakeholder analyses, success metrics, and communications activities.
- Previous project / program work in the areas of end-user adoption, mobile, security and/or Microsoft M365 products and services.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal for leaders (technology and business), suppliers and end users.
- Strong delivery skills, including project scoping, team staffing, subject matter direction, and risk management.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- PROSCI certification is highly desirable
- Strong active listening and communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
- Advanced interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities, including consultative questioning and critical thinking.
- Strong storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with formal change management methodologies focused on end-user behavioral change.
- Expertise in reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience across the full project management lifecycle and managing multiple projects.
- Ability to work effectively at all organizational levels and collaborate within teams.
- Problem-solving skills and root cause identification experience.
- Background in content production and planning calendars.
- Familiarity with gamification, leaderboards, and engagement tactics.
- Experience in playing a crucial part in the adoption of AI within the organization.
