Senior Business Consultant - WMS

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Lead business process analysis workshops to understand warehouse operations, inventory management processes and fulfillment requirements
  • Deliver high quality client solutions that meet and exceed client and EY expectations and are delivered on-time and on-budget
  • Translate business requirements into functional solution designs and future-state warehouse operating models
  • Support end-to-end WMS implementation projects, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment and hypercare activities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Support integration design and testing activities between WMS, ERP, transportation, automation and reporting platforms.
  • Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts and training materials

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, inbound, outbound and fulfillment processes
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional WMS solution designs and process improvements
  • Experience facilitating workshops, requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder alignment activities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments involving Supply Chain, Logistics, ERP and integration teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to support end-to-end WMS transformation programs, including testing, training and go-live activities
  • Self-driven, collaborative and client-focused mindset with a passion for delivering business value and operational excellence

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • 5+ years of experience delivering Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations, enhancements, or transformation programs
  • Experience in business process analysis, solution design, testing, and deployment within warehouse and logistics environments
  • Proven knowledge of warehousing operations including inbound logistics, inventory management, order fulfillment, and outbound distribution
  • Experience working with one or more leading WMS platforms such as SAP, Blue Yonder, Manhattan Associates, Oracle, Körber, Infor, or similar enterprise solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and business requirements gathering skills across cross-functional teams

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • French language proficiency is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset
  • Working experience with Onsite & Offshore delivery model environment is preferred
  • Engaging with business partners and IT to understand requirements from various parts of an organization to drive the design, programming execution, and UAT for future state capabilities within the platform
  • Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and strict deadlines
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies supporting supply chain and warehouse operations (AI, automation, analytics, robotics, etc.) will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of leading WMS solutions, ERP-integrated warehouse platforms and related supply chain technologies will be considered an advantage

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with professional proficiency in English required. French language skills are highly desirable, while proficiency in additional languages is considered a strong advantage in supporting international and multicultural client engagements
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
