The opportunity
This role offers unique opportunity to work with team located in different countries and building innovative products that enterprises don’t just use, but love. Our product management team here at Client Technology SAP Domain is motivated by designing, building and releasing products that “wow” our customers, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for making a better working world. You will work closely with the client (or end-product consumer), functional, technical and business teams to deliver complete solution around data migration (to & from) SAP S/4 HANA system for EY clients across the globe.
You will set the overall vision as a product owner in close collaboration with business owner and the solution leads, including the finalizing scope for respective products and all master / transactional data and their respective templates, roadmap, making test data available for various test cycles, co-ordinating with internal / external stakeholders for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) strategy, validation tasks by the clients, cutover data migration strategy, etc.,.

You would establish close relationship with the respective Technology Officer, key Business Owner and other CT counter parts (e.g. non-SAP Product Managers).
In your role, you enjoy conversations with all teams but are also comfortable presenting in front of senior leaders. You understand the extensive requirements of building products or Data Migration from source to target and vice-versa, and are willing to apply your experience & skills in a way that meets EY’s standards for problem solving, design and customer success.
Your key responsibilities

Work with the client / EY leaders to finalize product scope, design, build, test and deployment strategy. You will also responsible for provide your input to build commercial model for the product.

Work with the client / EY leaders to finalize scope for Data Migration and build Data Migration Strategy work product.

Enforce data governance structures and compliance activities to maintain required quality standards.

Collaborate with the client / end customer to explain Data Migration Strategy and walk them through templates.

Partner with the product team to implement automatization improvements in SAP solutions.

Prepare Roadmap to ensure business data available before SIT (System Integration Test) & UAT cycle.

Finalize cutover data migration plan with the client / end customer including data validation plan in the production system.

Present status update to the client / EY leadership team at regular frequency.

Communicate feedback to the leadership team to improve and evolve the quality.

Cultivate and build relationships with all stakeholders.

Prioritizes deadlines and provides supervision of all members of the teams.

Provide formal and informal coaching on-the-job to grow team members to their full potential.
To qualify for the role, you must have
-
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a technical, business field or equivalent
-
Practical experience in SAP S/4 HANA ERP System and SAP BTP.

5+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in SAP as a product owner or Data Migration Manager / Functional at large scale product development or IT consulting companies.

Knowledge of the Agile software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies. Deft at designing presentations, formal writing, verbal and email communication.

Experience in creating data migration strategy, roadmaps, working with cross-functional teams.

Experience managing and delivering results through others in matrixed client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams.
