Location: Wrocław / Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity
The overall purpose of the PMO Manager is to drive portfolio management disciplines in the areas of demand, Investment planning, finance, delivery, quality & compliance, change control, Reporting, governance and communications. Scope of role is across all geographic areas such as Americas, EMEIA, APAC and GDS within Office Projects portfolio.
Your key responsibilities
As a PMO Manager, you will:
- Facilitate Investment planning for the office projects portfolio
- Facilitate Project demand management activities such as demand triage, assessment, Business case development, Sponsor approval and Project setup
- Develop and maintain Office project and portfolio management process and toolset
- Monitor Project/Program execution to ensure scope, budget, and schedule adherence
- Partner with Delivery leads and Project managers to audit project financial and delivery status.
- Build strong relationships with BRM country leaders, real estate, and country leadership.
- Maintain effective ongoing communications and relationships between the project team and sponsoring organizations (ARM, Country leadership) where necessary.
- Drive compliance in the areas of Project and portfolio management
- Own reporting processes and dashboards to ensure transparency of portfolio health.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong knowledge of IT project Lifecycle, IT methodologies and toolset
- Experience in end-to-end financial management – plan, forecast, actual – function, portfolio and program/project levels
- Fosters collaborative ways of working with wider teams whilst challenging status quo.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively at all levels in a global virtual cross-cultural environment
- Strong reasoning and analytical skills
- Ability to navigate and work within multiple large complex projects and programs
- Experience with productivity tools (MS Office, MS Project, Powerbase or other data visualization tools)
- Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure
- Strong stakeholder management skills
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 10 - 12 years of experience working in Global IT environment in the areas of in portfolio management, PMO or program/project management
- Proficiency with MS Office suits, Project management and data visualization tools.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Professional certifications such as PfMP, PMP, or Prince Practitioner.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.
- Experience in professional services industry.
