Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote

The opportunity

 

CSS roles are created to provide tailored suite of services to consulting teams across competencies and regions within EY. Responsibilities include collaboration and service provision to Consulting leaders to manage their portfolio and practice operations more efficiently and effectively. The role also requires delivery of support to Consulting Engagement teams to set-up, govern and deliver end to end engagement economics, quality and coordination. Responsibilities vary by seniority: junior levels focus on learning and supporting basic tasks, mid-levels handle more complex activities and lead meetings, and seniors oversee global operations, manage teams, and facilitate projects from initiation to completion. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities are essential for success at all levels.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Project Management and Coordination:
  • Take on more complex project tasks under supervision and independently manage smaller assignments
  • Support project team on engagement management and coordination activities, including leading project meetings
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of the main services within the CSS competency
  • Assist in standard PMO processes, such as: budget management, risk management, issue and knowledge management using standard PMO tools
  • Implement simple improvements of service delivery based on acquired knowledge in project methodologies and best practices
  • Conduct detailed analysis and reporting
  • Effectively prioritize, organize, and execute your tasks
  • Support junior colleagues with PMO processes knowledge
  • Client Relationship and Quality Improvement
  • Develop good working relationships
  • Proactively anticipate client needs based on acquired knowledge and skills
  • Focus on quality of deliverables
  • Apply learned PMO processes standards
  • Look for process improvement opportunities and consult on the best practices

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Graduate, preferably Bachelor in Business Administration/Economics/Project Management or Master’s degree
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Proactiveness and flexibility
  • Ability to function as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and develop

 

To qualify for the role, you mut have

 

  • Previous relevant industry or project management experience of 1-3 years
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent English communication - both written and verbal
  • Experience in simple PMO activities, incl. leading project meetings, tracking actions, and ensuring effective communication among team members
  • Experience in developing strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Experience with project documentation, reports, and presentations that adhere to organizational standards
  • Good computer skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Openness to support initiatives across the organization
  • Good organization capabilities and being self-disciplined
  • Analytical/numerical skills

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Knowledge of an additional European language
  • Practical knowledge of PMO tools such as: Power BI, MS Visio, SharePoint, MS Planner, Jira, Confluence
  • Familiarity with project management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Certification in project management is a plus
