Your key responsibilities

• Data Management: Responsibility for the secure and efficient transfer of private data from departing employees to EY equipment.
• Process Implementation: Implementation of processes and policies that ensure data protection and data security during the transfer.
• Training: Conducting training sessions for employees and managers on the data transfer processes and relevant data protection regulations.
• Collaboration: Close collaboration with the IT department, the data protection officer, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that all legal and internal requirements are met.
• Documentation: Creation and maintenance of documentation regarding processes, policies, and training.
• Monitoring: Monitoring and analyzing transfer processes to identify and implement continuous improvements.
• Reporting: Regular reporting to management on the status of data transfers and any associated risks. 

Skills and attributes for success

• Very good English language skills.
• Successfully completed training or studies as well as several years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in data management is desirable, ideally in the context of data protection and data security.
• Knowledge of relevant data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Team player with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Excellent communications and organizational skills 
• Ability to engage in highly confidential discussions and maintain trust in all interactions

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Well-developed ownership skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office package (Excel-PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Professional experience in administrative support (this will be an additional advantage)
