HR Business Partner/Talent Consultant
Job description
HR Business Partner / Talent Consultant
Location: Wrocław / Warsaw - 2 days in office / 3 days remote
Let us introduce you to the opportunity at EY GDS Poland – part of a globally integrated, high‑performing service delivery network.
The opportunity
As an HR Business Partner at EY GDS, you will operate as a strategic advisor and a trusted partner to our service line leadership. Your role will go far beyond traditional HR support — you will help shape people priorities, anticipate talent needs, and influence strategic decisions that enable business growth.
You will combine maturity, business acumen and operational agility, developing a deep understanding of the service line’s direction while translating HR and Talent strategy into impactful actions. You will also play a key role in providing and interpreting people insights to guide leadership decisions and strengthen our talent agenda.
Skills and attributes for success
- Serve as the primary HR partner for designated sub‑service lines, ensuring cohesive, high‑quality support.
- Build strong, advisory‑driven relationships with leaders to understand business goals, forecast talent needs and translate them into actionable people solutions.
- Create a positive and connected employee experience, building engagement and a strong sense of belonging.
- Lead and support key areas such as engagement, performance management, workforce planning, organization design, staffing, learning & development, rewards & recognition, and HR program deployment.
- Proactively identify talent risks and opportunities; manage and escalate HR concerns with sound judgement.
- Own people insights: maintain and interpret key HR metrics (e.g., retention, inclusion, headcount), delivering clear, meaningful analytics.
- Contribute to global and local projects focused on digitalization, process simplification and continuous improvement — bringing a modern, growth‑oriented HR mindset.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 5+ years of HR experience, ideally with hands‑on HR Business Partner exposure within a multinational environment.
- Sound understanding of labour law and modern HR practices.
- Excellent English communication skills — clear, influential and concise.
- A proactive, agile mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders; ease operating in a matrix and global environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Empathy, resilience and strong interpersonal skills — including the ability to navigate conflict constructively.
- A global mindset and cultural sensitivity, enabling effective cross‑border collaboration.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- A degree or postgraduate qualifications in Psychology, Economics or HR.
- Experience in consulting or a similar professional services environment.
- Experience working in complex, virtual, geographically dispersed teams.
What we look for
- Someone energized by collaboration and partnership in a fast‑moving, matrixed environment.
- A mature, confident HR professional who can shift comfortably between strategic conversations and operational execution.
- A curious, self‑driven person who invests in their own development and seeks opportunities to contribute beyond their scope.
