The opportunity

 

The Technology Assurance, Risk, and Policy (TARP) function within Information Security strives to create and promote a holistic Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) program by creating a robust, resilient, and proactive governance framework, supported by a strategic risk management approach and stringent compliance structures. It aims to integrate and align its GRC initiatives in line with the global firm's objectives and emerging threats within the cybersecurity landscape.  

Furthermore, the Policy, Risk, and Controls (PRC) Enablement & Awareness team aims to manage the human element of risk through Human Risk Management, which involves security awareness, training, culture, and behavior management.  

 

Your key responsibilities

 

The Global Security Culture Manager sits within the Human Risk Management function and is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the EY global security culture program. This role will help foster a culture where secure behaviors are embedded into everyday decision-making and where security is recognized as a shared responsibility across the organization.

This position will work closely with leaders across Information Security, Technology, Risk Management, Talent, Communications, Learning, and the business to identify opportunities to strengthen security culture, influence behavior change, and improve organizational resilience. The individual will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping translate security priorities into meaningful cultural initiatives that resonate across diverse business functions, regions, and employee populations.

A successful applicant is a strategic thinker, relationship builder, and change leader who understands how organizational culture evolves and how to influence behaviors at scale. They are collaborative, data-informed, highly communicative, and capable of leading complex initiatives across a global organization.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.

 

Key responsibilities include

 

  • Develop and execute the EY global security culture strategy, roadmap, and multi-year maturity plan.
  • Manage a global security culture program focused on embedding secure behaviors into daily work practices and decision-making.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of security culture initiatives that drive measurable behavior change.
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders across Information Security, Technology, Risk Management, Talent, Communications, Learning, and business functions.
  • Develop engagement strategies that enable leaders to actively champion security culture within their teams and areas of responsibility.
  • Partner with awareness, learning, training, and simulation teams to ensure initiatives align with broader cultural objectives and business needs.
  • Collaborate with behavior analytics and reporting teams to define and monitor metrics that measure culture, engagement, participation, and behavioral outcomes.
  • Conduct research, assessments, surveys, interviews, workshops, and focus groups to identify cultural strengths, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze organizational trends and human risk indicators to inform strategic planning and intervention design.
  • Develop executive presentations, reports, and recommendations that communicate program effectiveness and cultural trends.
  • Identify and promote positive security behaviors through recognition, reinforcement, storytelling, and leadership engagement programs.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, organizational psychology, behavioral science, culture transformation, and human risk management practices.
  • Serve as a champion for continuous improvement and innovation across security culture initiatives.

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Behavioral Science, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, Change Management, Education, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in organizational change, culture transformation, employee engagement, workforce adoption, communications, learning, leadership development, behavioral programs, or related initiatives.
  • Experience implementing and/or managing high impact programs.
  • Experience using data, metrics, surveys, or other assessment methods to measure program effectiveness and inform decision-making.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience leveraging AI productivity tools.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Experience working within cybersecurity, information security, risk management, compliance, or technology environments.
  • Experience supporting security culture, human risk management, safety culture, ethics and compliance programs, or similar organizational behavior initiatives.
  • Familiarity with security awareness, behavior analytics, or human risk measurement approaches.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies, such as Prosci ADKAR or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with employee listening programs, culture surveys, sentiment analysis, or organizational diagnostics.
  • Experience working in a global virtual environment.
  • Relevant certifications in change management, organizational development, leadership coaching, behavioral science, or cybersecurity.
