The opportunity
The Global Consulting Customer Relationship Lead (CRL) is a senior, internal client-facing role within the Global Reporting & Data Analytics team (R&DA). This role acts as a key interface between Global Consulting Finance, the Global Integrated Finance Team (GIFT), and the R&DA function, ensuring strong alignment and delivery of high-quality reporting, analytics, and insights.
You will work closely with Global Consulting Finance leadership team, including the CFO, as well as partnering with the broader GIFT team to support decision-making, improve financial visibility, and drive consistent, data-driven insights across the business.
The role also contributes to ongoing finance transformation, including participation in GIFT-led initiatives and enabling the adoption of advanced analytics and AI where relevant.
Your key responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for Global Consulting Finance and GIFT stakeholders and build strong senior relationships.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing recommendations and constructively challenging stakeholders to support effective decision-making.
- Deliver meaningful insights and forward-looking analysis to support business decision-making.
- Act as a governance point for reporting and analytics demand, ensuring prioritization, alignment with strategic objectives, and avoidance of duplication, while translating business needs into scalable solutions.
- Act as the primary interface to the full R&DA capability, ensuring stakeholders benefit from the full range of reporting, analytics, and insights solutions offered by the R&DA
- Accountable for the quality, consistency, and business relevance of reporting and analytics outputs, overseeing delivery by GDS teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness while proactively managing risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive process improvements through automation, standardization, and enhanced analytics.
- Promote scalable, self-service reporting solutions and continuous improvement across the function.
- Supporting innovation, AI and finance transformation
- Contribute to the adoption of advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions within reporting and finance processes
- Identify opportunities where AI and automation can enhance insights, efficiency, and decision support as appropriate
- Support business stakeholders in understanding and adopting new data and analytics capabilities.
- Participate in Global Integrated Finance Team (GIFT) initiatives, contributing to finance transformation and continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure alignment of reporting and analytics solutions with broader finance and digital transformation priorities.
Additional leadership responsibilities:
In addition to core CRL responsibilities, the role includes the following cross-functional leadership and transformation activities:
- Participate in the growing integration of Service Line R&DA teams, shaping a more connected and consistent operating model aligned with broader Finance transformation priorities, reducing fragmentation and improving reuse of solutions
- Assess evolving business needs and identify capability gaps across R&DA teams, defining development priorities and supporting the build-out of skills in analytics, business partnering, and solutioning
- Actively contribute to cross-SL Global Integrated Finance Team (GIFT) initiatives, ensuring alignment between reporting, analytics, and broader finance transformation, while serving as a connector across Consulting Finance, GIFT, and R&DA
- Operate as part of the extended R&DA leadership team, contributing to strategic discussions, influencing priorities, and supporting the evolution of the function beyond immediate scope

- Experience in reporting, analytics, or FP&A

- Familiar with existing Global reporting solutions provided by the R&DA (Essentials, FR, Cubes)
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Experience in Finance, FP&A, Reporting, or Data Analytics
- Experience working with senior stakeholders
- Experience in global or matrix organizations
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools
Ideally, you'll also have
- Experience with integrated finance or transformation initiatives
- Knowledge of consulting or professional services environment
- Exposure to automation or analytics tools
