As part of our EY - Finance Consulting Team, you will help clients develop their Performance Improvement initiatives and identify potential opportunities for performance improvements drive them. This includes techno-functional role conducting finance processes assessments, deep diving and analysing pain areas and coming up with solutions. The client base spans across industries and countries.
The opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and accountable Manager to own and drive the delivery of our Financial Planning and Analysis operations. The successful candidate will be a strong people leader with a keen awareness of service management optics and an adeptness in utilizing tools and technologies such as Workday, Anaplan, High Radius, Blackline, ServiceNow (SNOW), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Tableau, Power BI, GenAI. Should be able to ideate to transform run and financial planning, budgeting, variance analysis and reporting.
Your key responsibilities
• Take full ownership and accountability for the delivery of FP&A services, ensuring operational excellence, adherence to SLAs and providing actionable insights to help client stakeholder take timely actions to improve business performance
• Lead the FP&A team through the entire cycle, from data collection, validation, analysis and commentary on business performance data
• Champion the use of advanced tools and technologies, such as Anaplan, Blackline High radius, SNOW, and RPA, Tableau, Power BI, GenAI to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
• Serve as a strong people leader, cultivating a culture of professional growth, teamwork, and exceptional performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to optimize FP&A processes and resolve issues swiftly.
• Be able to perform analytics on project performance, costing, fees, revenue recognition aspects etc.
• Fluent and confident communication skills to engage with senior client leaders, prepare crisp and impact business presentation with supporting data and analysis.
• Monitor FP&A metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports to senior management on the health and progress of FP&A initiatives.
• Be able to act as business partner to client business leaders Develop / maintain strong relationships with key customers and establish a rapport to facilitate seamless business operations Train and develop FP&A team members to build a high-performing team.

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing FP&A functions in large / mid size organizations with multiple business segments
• Demonstrated experience in multi-dimensional analytics – customer, vendor, margin, cost of delivery etc
• Proficient understanding of service management optics and experience managing service delivery against key metrics.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities with a proven ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a focus on delivering results.
• Working knowledge of Workday system and prior experience of going through Workday implementation will be added advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is advantageous.
• Readiness for occasional business travel
