We are looking for  Cyber Security professionals to join our Threat Exposure Management Team, a a part of wider Cyber Security organization inside EY GDS. As a future team member you will be responsible for delivering highest standards of security to multiple customers in various sectors. Your expertise will be an initial vector which will lead to prevention of attacks or data breaches and will benefit overall security posture.
 

Your key responsibilities

 

We are providing services to both internal and external projects, therefore you can work in a long-term assignments or change projects on a regular basis. The main activities you might be engaged into can be:

  • Need to work as a team leader (technical leader) to contribute in various technical streams of implementation project.
  • Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
  • Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
  • Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis
  • Manage the performance management for the direct reportees, as per the organization policies
  • Foster teamwork and lead by example
  • Training and mentoring of project resources
     

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • 6+ years of commercial experience in similar role
  • Experience with T-SQL or PL/SQL
  • Experience with Python (including Numpy, Panda libraries)
  • Experience with Databricks, Spark
  • Experience with Azure or AWS data stack
  • Strong Experience with design techniques of relational databases
  • Strong Experience with concepts such as Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes
  • Experience with version control system (GIT, Azure Devops, SVN)
  • Very good English (verbal and written)
  • Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Experience in Insurance or Banking.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Programming language skills (Python, C++, C# or Java),
  • Previous experience as an admin, developer or blue team member
  • Hands-on experience with additional Penetration testing tools
  • Experience with cloud-hosted applications and services,
  • Bug bounties or detected vulnerabilities in CVE
  • Familiarity of Red Team methodologies (MITRE, Social engineering, OSINT etc.).
  • Industry Certificates – OSCP, Pentest+, eJPT or other similar

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Hands-on, professional experience with BI/ETL/Bigdata Technologies.
  • Sound understanding of industry-specific regulatory standards such as BCBS 239 and MiFID.
  • Strong foundation in the design techniques of relational databases and experience with data lakes.
  • Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation.
  • Experience in migration projects of Insurance and Banking data
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry, particularly with familiarity with accounting frameworks like General Ledger and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Familiarity with Data Visualization tools and methods to provide insightful representations of complex data sets.
  • Knowledge and experience regarding the application of GenAI and LLMs (Large Language Models) within the financial services industry.
  • Experience with BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau
  • Understanding of the importance of governance and security rules while handling data
