Infrastructure & Operations at EY is dedicated to managing and operating EY technology and services. The objective of working in the Business Management Office (BMO) within Infrastructure & Operations is to provide strategic and operational support to ensure the effective management and execution. This includes coordinating and managing projects to align with the overall infrastructure technology strategy, facilitating communication and collaboration across different teams and service lines, monitoring and reporting on performance metrics, supporting budget and resource management, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

The opportunity

As a Business Manager specializing in Data Insights & Analytics, you will harness your expertise to uncover actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and innovation across I&O. This role is distinct from traditional reporting or financial analyst positions: your primary responsibility is to interpret complex data, simulate scenarios, identify patterns, and translate findings into meaningful business recommendations. You will leverage advanced analytics platforms - including Power BI and AI tools - to deliver insights that inform leadership, optimize operations, and support organizational growth. 

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the discovery and communication of business insights from diverse data sources, focusing on strategic impact rather than routine reporting
• Design and implement advanced analytics solutions using Power BI, AI, and other platforms to reveal trends, opportunities, and risks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into data-driven questions and actionable insights
• Synthesize complex data into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making by mentoring others in insight generation and best practices
• Ensure data integrity and compliance while exploring innovative approaches to analytics

Skills and attributes for success

• Proven ability to extract and communicate actionable insights from large, complex datasets
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, visualization best practices) and experience with AI/machine learning platforms (e.g., Azure ML, Python, R)
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a focus on connecting data findings to business outcomes
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical insights into business language
• Experience leading analytics initiatives and influencing decision-makers
• Attention to detail in data validation and insight generation
• Collaborative mindset for working with diverse teams

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or insight-focused roles
• Demonstrated success in delivering actionable insights using Power BI and AI platforms
