The opportunity

As a senior developer within the Global Controlling Transformation Team, you will play a key role in driving the design and implementation of digital-transformation solutions. Our mission is to empower EY member firms to streamline their finance processes, increase operational efficiency, and drive growth through cutting-edge Low-Code Technology and data-driven solutions.

In this role, you'll leverage the entire Power Platform product suite to create impactful business solutions, with an eye towards emerging technologies and AI-assisted development practices that include tools like Microsoft Copilot Studio to optimize and enhance the development process. You’ll report to the Global Controlling Transformation Tech Lead and may supervise the work of other developers within the team. While we value work experience, the right candidate will have a strong technical background and training, a passion for learning, and a desire to contribute to innovative projects.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Power Platform Solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, AI Hub, Power Pages, Copilot Studio and Power BI.
• Collaborate with the Product Management Team on requirements and unit testing.
• Translate requirements into viable Power Platform solutions.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Document development processes using best practices.
• Work on proof of concepts utilizing new Power Platform features.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Power Platform Solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse. Familiarity with AI Hub, Power Pages, Copilot Studio and Power BI.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 products like Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and OneDrive.
• Strong customer engagement skills, with the ability to bridge technology and business discussions to uncover the value of tech-enabled solutions.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Microsoft Certifications relevant to the role.
• Solid understanding of integration technologies, APIs, and protocols
• Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), programming languages (C#, Python, VB.NET, Vba) or relational databases (SQL Server)
