Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Intelligence Architect with French, an experienced consultant who presents self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution. This role is crucial for designing and implementing advanced data solutions that facilitate informed decision-making for our clients and business partners. The Data Architect will leverage their expertise in Azure, Power BI, and various data technologies to drive improvements and integrations across various products.

Your key responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Design and enhance the data platform, including SQL/NoSQL databases and Azure-based ETL processes (ADF), ensuring performance, scalability, and data quality.
- Integrate diverse data sources and products to maintain a seamless, reliable, and well‑governed data ecosystem.
- Develop Power BI reports and automate business processes using Power Platform and AI‑driven solutions.
- Analyze complex business requirements (including C‑level) and translate them into clear technical specifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, overseeing end‑to‑end delivery of data solutions.

To qualify for the role, you must have

C1-level French and very good English (written and spoken).5+ years of experience in a similar role, delivering enterprise‑class data solutions.

Expert skills in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and Microsoft Azure (including ADF ETL pipelines, Synapse/Analysis Services, database and cost optimization).

Hands‑on experience with NoSQL databases (preferably document-based, e.g., MongoDB) and system integration.Strong understanding of AI concepts, data quality methodologies, and cross‑technology integration.

Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements for diverse stakeholders, including C‑level.

Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving abilities, and a proactive, reliable approach.
Ideally, you’ll also have

Microsoft-certified (PL‑300, DP‑600, DP‑700, Azure Data Engineer Associate) with strong leadership skills and experience guiding data engineering teams.

Solid experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), GitHub, and cross‑platform BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, SAP BO, Cognos, or OBIEE.

Proficient in additional cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), major RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, Teradata), and data lake architectures.

Hands‑on experience with real-time data processing, data warehousing/aggregation, and familiarity with FinOps principles.

Domain understanding of Tax and Payroll systems and ability to integrate diverse technologies effectively.
